SLR campaign

This dedicated SLR campaign is important to optimally achieve the objectives of the G4S_2.0 project. The campaign will last a total of two years, with the main aim of increasing the number of normal points of the Galileo FOC satellites in elliptical orbit. The orbit determination of these satellites will be useful to obtain a new measurement of the gravitational redshift and, consequently, to place constraints on the local position invariance. The tracking of the satellites in nominal (almost circular) orbit, in addition to that of the two satellites in elliptical orbit, will instead be important to place constraints on the possible presence of dark matter of galactic origin in the form of domain walls.
